Wow! I love mixed media pieces and these are really striking. In a weird coincidence, I was just sent a review copy of a mystery where the heroine is a collage artist.

I'm not really a collage fan, but I must admit these are really striking 👍

"I think that one of the great human dramas is the evolution of style, whether it's in visual art or musical art or literary art."

That was Heather Mac Donald on Glenn Loury's podcast, which I feel explains the awe I feel looking at these collages. I'm feeling dreamy already 😂 especially with that ballet crocodile. Amazing work, Ana. (Bows in reverence.)

And Nadia, your guest post recommendations as always, lit!

Thanks so much, Obed! That is so kind of you! I was in awe when I saw the crocodile collage too. It's my most beloved one, I would say. I've been following Ana's work for many years (we're excellent friends too), and she never ceases to astound me with her imagination, creativity, and ingeniousness.

Hey, a fellow Romanian! I love all of them, but I’m especially fond of the Virgin Maries and the Fence. To me, it reflects a world where God can be found in the smallest, most mundane of things. In that world, waking up and finding a trio of holy mothers in one’s backyard wouldn’t shock anyone.
