Will check out the whole list this weekend, Nadia. I'm a big Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, and U2 listener, so I'm sure I'll appreciate some of this new music you're introducing to me. Thank you.
Listening to the playlist now. Interesting vid about "peak" experiences - certainly I've heard of ecstatic/mystic experiences (I recall one very intense and memorable such experience about 3 years ago,) and of "flow" experiences, but never specifically peak. Some songs/voices inspire tears or a wish to dance, but I think even more accessibly, a really good laugh can have that "Yes! This!" effect, especially when shared. Great post, thanks Nadia!
Thank you so much, dear Troy! I imagine all these terms appeal to the same kind of intense feeling. I agree with you, laughter has this effect too. How beautiful!
Thank you, dear friend, for another great story. Like you, music is essential for my well being...and even more importantly, my main form of meditation is to consciously use the power of music and sacred sound to tune our consciousness up to being with the divine. This practice is called kirtan...and for myself, i use playlists of the songs which help me to vibrate to higher levels of awareness, love and being present.
I wrote a recommendation for when hope writes that you can put on your welcome page. I have sent it to your email address via substack email...I have also made your newsletter one that’s recommended to our readers.
Thank you so much, I appreciate all your support! I've been recommending you as well to others! I hope more people tune in to you. Thanks for sharing the practice. That is so insightful. And yes, music can indeed heighten our vibrations and energy. So helpful!
I have been on many mountain peaks, and can attest that this is exactly what it feels like! As for music, you've got a great list going there. My current WIP piece is Enesco's Hungarian Rhapsody #2, which never fails to fill me with life.
Wow! That is awesome! I do wish to one day be on a peak of a mountain, but I'm not sure if that will happen. I'm afraid of heights, almost to the point of phobia. The highest I've been was on Mont-Royal in Montreal. Enesco's work is marvelous. Thank you for stopping by! :D

I appreciate you, Mike! I adore Peter, U2, and Kate...well she's been my muse since I was 17.
Ah, yes. One of my closest friends met his future wife in the late 1980s in a Kate Bush fan club. They're still married, getting ready to retire.
That is so beautiful!!!
