This is really moving, Nadia, an ode to displacement and finding anchors in the heart and creativity when the world is constantly shifting. You've had such challenges! Your voice is both gentle and strong... :)

That was so good! I loved it , and thanks for the shoutout.

I resonate deeply with all the stuff you wrote about hope! I too feel like I was a twenty something overflowing with hope and now I am lucky for even a drop. It's something I wanna change tho. being hopeless sucks lol

Thank YOU, Alex. I think anyone who laughs and makes people laugh has probably been through a lot and probably has a lot of hope, even when it doesn't feel that way. But yes, as we become adults, we're not as happy. Happiness becomes more work. Haha.

ugh i hate that wtf. But maybe that's stage 2 of a 3 stage thing. like a thesis, antithesis, synthesis sort of vibe.

the synthesis is the true happiness because it holds both the child and adult inside of it idk

You'll get there! I truly believe in that because I've been in the final stage and usually am in that stage. Eventually, you become at peace and content with life, and everything around you no longer breaks you. It takes time and work, but it happens. I promise you this!

“Mini me was carefree, joyful, studious, well, and hopeful. Life shaped big me in unpredictable ways full of uncertainties and obstacles, but not devoid of love, beauty, happiness, peace, and fortune. Mini me pushes me forward, and big me pulls myself together. We co-exist in different hopes.” Yup. We were separated at birth. I adore you Nadia!!!! I adore your brilliant, reflective, warm, wall-carpeted mind! ❤️

I'm sorry I had missed this journey to your near present. I appreciate people's paths that are far different in place but share the trials that we are all subject to. Your hope always comes through to us through your poetic words. Hope spring wells up by your path, Nadia!
