An indigo butterfly! What an amazing image. Butterflies always make me think of ripple effects and indigo rich comfort. The two together are something entirely new.

Oh yes! I think of chaos theory whenever I think of butterflies. It's so bizarre, something so delicate having so much power, especially an indigo butterfly!

I feel like I've experienced unrequited love a few times for sure. Nothing more painful than that awful pining. Glad to be loved now.

Oh yes, the pining! You two are such a lovely, loving couple. Life finds a way!

oh my yes to unrequited love - lovely poem, Nadia - was not familiar with the song, that must be one of the earlier music videos ever...

Hugs to you. That's not easy. And thank you so much! Funnily, I first heard the cover, then the original. The original is of course the best. And it doesn't sound olden, but timeless and timely!

Wow, this is a wonderful poem. You now have a wonderful state, over which a lot of work must have been done, this is inspiring! Very happy for you!

It takes a long time to accept oneself. And it’s a beautiful thing when it happens.

Yes, indeed. What an appeasing feeling when you get there.

I really like this poem. The way you built up the creeping and growing separation 🤌🏼 and staying in tune with the water imagery and things related to water/tides. I love tight knit poetry like this. Like a perfectly rolled little j that gets the mind that perfect amount of buzz. Bravo 👏

Your magnificent line …”a conch shell remains

with a siren song in her place….”

Freaking magnificent. Reminds me of a line by Celan….“we sleep like wine in the conches/ like the sea in the moon’s blood ray….” I prefer yours! (Paul Celan “Corona”)
